Wow, the picture taken out the front window is incredible. How beautiful. I am so happy to hear you had a good time. It looks so peaceful.
The decision that has made the biggest difference in my life is adopting my two daughters.
The road to bring them home required strength I didn't know I had in me and more faith than I could muster up at times. I never realized how much God really loved me until then. His grace overwhelms me.
My daughters are more than I imagined, my dream come true. My life is changed forever. I am so grateful.
I have a deep committment and love for Guatemala and I look forward to the day that I can put my love into action by serving others in my daughters homeland.
Praying for your family.
Happy New Year, Debbie

Hi, Your pictures look great. This past year my son, Isaac, has wanted to go to a military school. He wrote them letters, set up a interview and got accepted. He proved to my wife and I he really wants this by working hard at school and home. It is because of how I am that he needs this so my wife and I are sending him. Our whole life will change, especially money wise but also we will miss him terrible. Most every thing we have will pay for this but we are doing it. I believe God is going to bless our decision. I will have to wait until this time next year to give you an update. God bless. In Christ, Joe

The decision that made the most difference in my life for the better was my decision to believe in Jesus Christ as my Saviour. Even though I was brought up in a Christian home and knew all about how to be saved, it wasn't till I was a senior in high school that I realized that it was meant for me. I could tell anyone how to be saved but I never made the decision for myself till then. God convicted me of my sin, I confessed my sin and accepted Jesus wonderful gift of salvation through His enormous sacrifice on the cross. Since that day, I have the assurance of my salvation. This has affected every decision I have made for the rest of my life.
By the way, Wes makes a wonderful princess. LOL!!!

Walking by faith is a privilege and a relief! The adoption process revealed so much of that to me. To walk in His will and promises....there is no greater joy and peace. Loved all your pics, Carmen and Lauren are beauties. Susie

O - I forgot. Kara, we had 2 degrees below 0 this week for cold - - we live on a ridge and the wind does blow!! If we go north into the Mohawk River valley, there is completly different weather. We are surrounded by farm land so there isn't much to stop the wind!

That isn't even a really good picture of the view from our living room - - on a clear day the lake view is awesome!!

And - - if you really want to see some beautiful views - you should see the sunsets and sunrises we are gifted with - right out of a picture book! God has blessed us with a fantastic spot in central New York - - but, with it comes hurricane style winds (most recent loss was of a 24 foot heavy duty "portable" shed that lasted less than a week - the wind took it, frame and all!!), lots of snow drifts, and the smell of slurry (farm country!)!

Where did you go in upstate NY? We live about 35 minutes east of Saratoga Springs. About 8 miles west of the Vermont border. It is beautiful and peaceful here-but really cold!!
Best wishes,
Kara
