Between multiple sicknesses (Hope, Lauren, NY Grandma and I all had colds and Lauren had that bad bout of hives) plus just normal busy lives, we got exactly one picture at the beach in February.
So, last night on my way home from errands, I stopped at the top of our neighborhood and took another picture.
See the sliver of bluish purple under the setting sun? That is the ocean.
Hopefully we will make it to the beach more in March. Good chance of a beach trip this weekend. The forecast is calling for high 70s.
Gee, don’t you miss the shoveling and slush? I mean all that gorgeousness can be monotonous, can’t it? I’m being so foolish….. it is truly beautiful and delightful. Thank you, so much, for sharing….
Betty- it’s kind of funny. I’ve heard plenty of people say that they wouldn’t like it out here because they would miss the seasons. Granted, we have only been here 8 months but so far we most certainly do NOT miss the seasons! We can always come to NY for our winter/snow fix.
