Thanks to my father-in-law, we now know what is growing in our yard. Among the various plants, flowers and trees, we have:
Jasmine, which smells wonderful and Jade, which is such a pretty plant.

I am really looking forward to spring to see what else blooms in our yard. For the one millionth time I will say, “Thank goodness that our rent includes a gardener!!!!!!”
I grew up with Jazmine (jazmin). It was nice for some years, used the flowers to make perfume in my teens (I can’t remember how). But in my 20′s I had it enough of it. Now I miss it…
