All I want for Christmas is…

All I want for Christmas is….

for no one in this house to be sick!!!!!!!

After last week’s croup and viruses, I was hoping for a long, long healthy spell. Nope, Hope has pink eye and Dave has bronchitis!

We are downing BarleyLife and Vitamin C and eating chicken noodle soup.

Lauren and I are well but we are loading up on the vitamins too and praying for the best.

Quite sure these cookie exchange cookies don’t qualify as vitamin-fortified but they do look pretty!

Have a super great HEALTHY weekend!

Yes. We had 1 whole week of good health last week….first full week since mid October. Today Sage is coughing terribly.

I swear by Airborne! Take every 4-6 hours when you feel a cold or anything coming on – - also helps get over stuff faster!!

Those cookies look awesome — and how many different kinds are you bringing to NY???? :D

I know…but I am similar to my daughter’s and really don’t like the way Airborne tastes! But, I shall go drink some now since my mother-in-law says that will work! Not feeling so great myself…

I made Mexican Wedding Cake cookies. They are so yummy. Thanks for telling us about them. And I bought all the ingredients for the breakfast cassarole. I’m giving them away for Christmas morning presents.

All I want for Christmas is…humanly impossible, which is just where I believe God Himself wants me and us. All I want for Christmas is not just about what “I” want, but about what the LORD also wants. And heavenly speaking, my hope is in what I and God can and will do together right now, and in the year 2012, and far beyond that.

Merry Christmas Dave, Lana, Lauren, Carmen and Hope. We hope it is a great day this Sunday, filled with faith and love and also filled with laughter, the making of many wonderful memories and excellent food and company. I love you all always. We pray for your good health and prosperity too.
