Lauren and Maya have been best friends for a couple of years. This year, they are in first grade together. Their teacher told me that they are like two peas in a pod. They both love school. They love to talk. They love to sing. They love Sound of Music. They love to dance.

Agreed. My best friend has been my best friend since 1986…true friends are the ones you hold onto through the good and bad. We don’t like to admit that we have been bf’s for 24 years. Admitting that means admitting we are pushing 40. Ugh.
