If You Could Choose Your Last Meal…

More About You Mondays

[This post is part of an ongoing blog series to get to know each other better. Have you read and participated in the other "More About You Monday" questions?]

I am on a diet. I do NOT like dieting. I think about what I wish I was eating all day long. So, please humor me with today’s question. Today’s More About You Monday question is: If you could choose your last meal, what would it be? (Recognizing that if you had that choice, the situation might not be so great!)

Celebrating One Year with Hope

Earlier this week, Lana, Lauren and I each wrote letters to Hope. Without knowing it, we wrote letters that fit nicely together into one birthday note to Hope. Here it is:

Hope, you are loved by your family and you always will be! Happy 1st birthday!

Several photos at 11 days old were taken by Beth from sugarrushphotography.com. Thanks Beth!

Let’s Eat Cake!

We had a little birthday party for someone special today! Tomorrow is Hope’s first birthday so stay tuned for a birthday video from Dave.

The Beauty of Snow

Yesterday we decided to be adventurous. Dave came home from work a little early so we bundled up the girls, packed the cameras and set off for our favorite spot in the woods.

Lauren, our little photographer, took this picture. Yesterday, she asked if she can have her own blog so she can write and post her pictures. :)

Dave and Lauren took pictures of each other, at the same time.

Hope got a taste of snow. She wasn’t so sure.

Me and my almost one year old!

We had fun. It’s good to have fun.

Snow can wreak havoc on the roads and can shut down most everything. But, it sure is pretty! It covers up a whole lot of brown ugliness. I love snow.

Happy Snow Day!

We got 8 inches of snow yesterday evening. That’s no big deal, right? Last year we got a 30 inch snow storm. But, this snow came down in about three hours. For many people, a 30 minute evening commute turned into 6-7 hours as they tried to get home last night. Thankfully, Dave came home before the big snow started.

We are hoping we can get out today and take some pictures. It’s beautiful out there.

I took these two from the window this morning.

Is this an Oriole or something else?

Loads of snow!
