I find it a bit humorous that everyone’s name changes when kids show up on the scene. My sister, Trish, has been known as Aunt Trish since our nephew Dakota was born almost ten years ago. Now, I find myself occasionally referring to her as “Aunt Trish” when speaking about her to Lana, even when none of the kids are around!
Trish is one of the most compassionate and caring people I know. She is also extremely artistic, always involved in some sort of art and craft project. Here are a few artistic creations she submitted to celebrate Carmen:

So, how would you arrange the letters in the last photo to include HOPE? Don’t take the easy way out!
Use the “e” at the end of Dave’s name for the “e” in “Hope”.
My only sister is 10 years older than me. Her name is Sylvia and I called her by that name until I was about 26 yrs old. At that time my daughter was about 2 yrs old and pronounced it “Aunt Sivy”. She’s been Aunt Sivy or just Sivy ever since. She’s still 10 years older than me and I’m much older than 26 now.
We had fun, the children did some of these too. Little Miss came up with the seashell idea using her seashells from Florida.
Love,
Trish (Aunt Trish)
Hi Dave, I think your whole family must be artistic. Cool stuff Trish
Your family is blessed.
BTW – Aunt “Trish” was named Patricia at birth, was called Patty until she went off to college and – at her wedding, we knew where friends were from by what they called “her” !!! (I will never forget the day I was to meet her in Philadelphia at a shop she was working at – when I said I was there to meet Patty, they told me they didn’t have anyone there by that name – - even when I added our last name they were perplexed – - o, well!)
My first name is April. My God duaghter always added a “Y” to everything she said. Ever since I have been know as Appie.
