NY Grandpa offered to watch the girls while I took Lauren out for something special. So, as soon as Lauren got home from school, we headed out for mommy/daughter time. I didn’t tell her where we were going. I gave her hints. “It’s something girls like to do. It’s fancy. It’s colorful.” When we parked, Lauren looked out the window and yelled, “Yay, a nail salon!” This was her first manicure/pedicure experience and she was quite impressed. Afterward she told me that the lady cleaned her legs. Today was Field Day at school so I bet she did!

How cute! Love the color!!! Tomorrow I am taking my neice Leigh-Ann for a manicure and pedicure because she is getting married on Friday. This is going to be Auntie, Neice time. Isn’t this special! Love it!
So glad Lauren enjoyed the surprise, and that you got some 1-on-1 time. I gave up on manicures long ago, but I do rather enjoy pedicures and will have to find me some hot pink polish… such a fun color!
