We hope your morning is as full of sunshine as ours!

Today is the big day for Dave’s two brothers. Dave’s younger brother, Steve, is donating a kidney to Dave’s older brother, Wes. They are in surgery now. Please pray that all goes well with both surgeries, recoveries, and that Wes’s body accepts the new kidney.
Praying in NC!
…oh, I miss the baby stage. Hope is beautiful!
Praying in Upstate NY.
Awe….what a beautiful, beautiful face. Praying too!
She is beautiful…just like her two big sisters!
Keeping Dave’s brothers in my thoughts.
“Dear Jesus, Please be with Steve and Wes as they both endure scary and painful surgeries. Heal Steve Lord, and give him the peace and knowledge that he will be fine with one kidney, and keep his recovery pain to a minimum. Allow Steve’s kidney to begin working immediately in Wes. Keep it strong, and may it last until Wes is at a ripe old age. In Your Precious Name. AMEN.”
Praying, praying, praying for both of them – for quick healing & a very successful surgery. For God to guide the Drs. For peace for all of you! God bless you!
Brief update from the hospital. My younger brother, Steve, is in the recovery room. Everything went well on his end.
They’re still working on Wes. The kidney is in and mostly “hooked up.” So far, so good.
Both are in recovery.
Thinking and praying. Sounds like all went well thus far! Hope it continues to go well! And little Hope is adorable as always!!!
I will be praying for both and you all. God bless, Joe
OMGosh Lana and Dave…. Hope is so beautiful. I also loved that pic of Carmen – with her long, beautiful hair! Every time I cut Baby Ry’s hair….. I kept it. I’m finding ziploc bags of hair everywhere.. lol Praying all goes well with Dave’s brothers.
I’ll keep them in my prayers today! I absolutely love the picture of Hope – she certainly is a ray of sunshine!!!
It is Tuesday night – about 10:30 – - we are back at our hotel and praising God for his goodness today. Both of Steve’s kidneys are working beautifully – - the one he still has and the one Wes has. The nurse told me they can hardly pump enough fluids into Wes to keep up with the output of his new kidney!!! Wes has been retaining quite a bit of fluid these past weeks – - Karen has already noticed Wes’ face is looking thinner!!! Thank you to ALL who have had both men in their prayers and thoughts today – - it carried us through a VERY LONG day of waiting and waiting!!
