I have just finished reading through your whole story with Carmen. I just wanted you to know that I have been praying for your family for the last hour and a half. My husband is a pastor and was a hospice chaplain and I always think that I have gotten used to death. Thank you for sharing your story and reminding me to treasure every moment with my children. I am so sad for you today, but grateful for God's working in your lives. God bless you four.

But most kids in America don't get to experience LIFE the way she does either: giving and loving the way you all are to Carmen. All of your girls are blessed to be a part of your family, even if that means experiencing things before they "should".

Good news! Dave gave Lauren a decongestant and motrin last night and she slept 12 hours. She woke up and started jumping on the bed! So, she is back to school. :)
