Good News!
Hi, it’s me, Lana, blogging from the hospital bed. Dave brought me a laptop so I am reconnected to the world! I was beginning to have withdrawal symptoms!
I had an ultrasound today and my cervix measured 3.2cm in thickness and based on the ultrasound it does not look dilated! If all goes well tomorrow, I will head home on strict bed rest with a Terbutaline pump (I think in my thigh) and a contraction monitoring system (an on-call nurse will monitor my contractions from home).
To be perfectly honest, my first thought was that the doctor must have made a mistake in measuring yesterday. But, then I realized that I was completely taking away the possibility that God might have just performed a miracle. It is sad how quickly I try to rationalize things. So, thank you God for all that you do for me, even when I am not quick to give you credit.
I am looking forward to being home and seeing Dave and my girls and my in-laws!

Big thanks to Heather for the dinner last night. Dave brought me some of the tortellini and chocolate chip bread- delicious! Thank you to Joey for bringing me a berry smoothie! It was just exactly what I needed. Thanks to my mother-in-law who sat at the hospital with me today. And thanks to my lovely nurse today who had such a cheerful disposition. That means A LOT to a patient!
I am sooooo relieved by all the good news for you today. We will pray you to February!! Go home and rest, rest, rest!
God Bless You Lana! You are in our thoughts and prayers… Your situation is near a dear to our hearts… We look forward to seeing pictures of that healthy baby, Hope…

Lana I have said all along that we serve a great God and all things are possible with Him. Even when conventional thought would say it is not possible or that can’t be right, He says I made it and I will choose how it will end! Love you guys!!
So happy to read this…
I checked in to see if you had an update. Continued prayers coming your way.
Morning Lana, Sounds like Hope is content and God is fine with that

Hi Lana, I’m so happy for you and so very happy that God has Blessed you and baby Hope. I know there’s no place like home, so, healing and “staying-put” for Hope should be an easier road. And yes, I agree with Laurie, too. Praying for you –always! Janet
