Glad I could help. I made my first few videos with MovieMaker. I think you'll like it!

PS. I'd love to see your movie when it's done. Please let me know if you post it online.

Hey Dave, thank you so much for the recommendations, I tried to find some test version of Final Cut but I didn't find it, so I guess I'm going with MovieMaker! It fits my needs :D
Thank you again!

Yes, it does make sense and I totally agree with you. The more I experience (that's a nicer way of saying 'the older I get') the more I see that God's plan is perfect in every way and that my plans just get in the way and cause all kinds of problems (destruction, pain, lack of fruitfulness, etc.) With God's plan for Carmen I continue to remember the phrase in the 'Little Hands, Little Feet' song - "She was born to live eternally."
I think what touches you so deeply in that scene is what makes me love it. It is so real and so emotional. I always love things that make me feel deeply even if it is sadness that I feel. It's like a beautiful poem that expresses reality so clearly. I hope that makes sense......

Gosh, thank you. Glad you like 'em. I use a Panasonic HMC 150, which is somewhere between a consumer camcorder and a professional camera.

Thank you.

That scene, along with other similar scenes in other movies/photos, is tough for me. Without dwelling too much on the negative, that scene reminds me that Carmen often sits on the sidelines in life, that she can't be the one bouncing up and down opposite her older sister and that, once again, Lauren is playing with her parents instead of her sibling. Lauren has friends and plays with them often but friends aren't the same as siblings (IMHO).

This scene is a subtle reminder that God's plan is very different than our plan. And as tough as it is sometimes to not see our plan come to pass, God's plan is still better! There is a brighter future ahead of us all!

That scene brings tears to my eyes. Hope that makes sense.

I can't speak for others but I've found that to be true of myself. I am definitely learning to value the little things more than I used to. It's one of the positive impacts of this terrible disease.

Yeah, I probably should have dialed down the music and dialed up the dialog. There were a couple of cute things she said that are hard to decipher.

Thanks. Glad you like it.

Thanks Juliana. You are very kind.

I use Final Cut and really like it although there is definitely a learning curve.

If you are only looking to do this one project, I'd probably recommend either iMovie (Mac) or MovieMaker (PC).
