A Little Bit of Heaven
Despite Carmen getting so very sick while at NY Grandparents’ house, we always enjoy visiting this lovely part of the country. It is the exact opposite of our suburbia life: quiet, serene, beautiful.
Before Dave’s Irish grandma passed away, she used to always quote “A Little Bit of Heaven…” that went something like this:
A little bit of heaven fell
From out the sky one day;
And nestled on the ocean
In a spot so far away.
And when the angels saw it
It looked so peaceful there;
They called it Ireland.
And then Grandma would explain that Ireland is not so peaceful after all.
I think that upstate New York is also a little bit of Heaven!

The view from NY Grandparents’ front window. Gorgeous!

My Poem Celebrating Upstate NY
A little piece of heaven
fell form the sky on day…
It was a snowmobile and I rode it all around the farm lands and woods very fast and it was incredible and now my wife and kids love it so much too and so we go to Grandma and Grandpa’s whenever possible to snowmobile.
And they called it fun!

WOW, it sure looks beautiful up there!
Oh my, you’ve captured the very best in your lens. That picture is absolutely beautiful. That’s my whole life’s view living here, as well. YHWH’s creation…. Praise God!
I would love to wake up and have that view everyday! I am so sick of the city life!
Gorgeous!
I could get used to that view. My brother lives in Colorado and looks at the mountain range from his front porch and endless plain from his back porch. Just imagine what heaven and the new Earth is going to look like. One of my hero’s Keith Green once said “If God built this earth in 6 days and he has been working on Heaven for 2000 years, this is living in a garbage can compared to whats going on up there” Can hardly wait to see it. God bless. In Christ, Joe
