Quite often I find pictures around the house that Lauren has drawn. Both my dad and mom and Dave’s dad and grandmother are artists so the artistic gene is quite strong! I did not get any drawing/painting artistic ability so I am very much in awe of anyone who can draw and paint. At age 4, Lauren seems to have a natural artistic talent which I just love! Today I was thinking about how God is the Master Painter. Just about everything we paint or draw or take pictures of is something God has created. I took this picture of a sunset recently and I am just amazed by the colors.

Here’s a picture Lauren drew yesterday. Sunflowers are my very favorite flowers (such happy flowers!).
Photography is an art – and I would say you have the gift of an artistic eye.
BTW – Doug’s dad was the artist in the family before Doug and Priscilla came along.
