Pumpkin Patch Fun
Carmen update: Carmen is having a great week. Her breathing is so even and relaxed that I almost cannot hear her! Normally she sounds like a train. She still has C-diff so I am going to talk to her pediatrician about moving to the next antibiotic. Amazingly, none of us have gotten C-diff!
Lauren and I went on a school field trip to the pumpkin patch. My friend Karen and Helena, the hospice home health aid, stayed home with Carmen. Thanks so much Karen and Helena!
Here are some pictures from the pumpkin patch.
Lauren with corn to pop.
Apparently it is way more fun to pick flowers in the pumpkin patch than dirty pumpkins with slugs on them!
Lauren and friends feeding the chickens.

Looks like a lot of fun! You all have so much fun enjoying everyday God gives you with each other! You are such an inspiring family! Take care and God bless! I know April is a ways away, but I am so looking forward to getting a chnace to talk with you more!
Mary
Some times I think if I were in your shoes I would sit and mope or just withdraw but you all really do like Mary says and make every day count. I am going to do something with my son this weekend even if it kills him. He is 14. God bless. In Christ, Joe
