Wow! It’s been awhile since my last post. I have lots of updates to write about and will try to do that later tonight. But I want to let you know that Dave has been working on the site. He thinks that it will be ready either late tonight or tomorrow. Here are several features of the new site that I am excited about:
- I am going to be able to post my own journal entries. Dave is usually pretty good about uploading my posts but sometimes he gets busy and can’t do it right away.
- The guest book will no longer be available, at least not as it is right now. We are going to keep all of your messages on a static web page but new entries will not be allowed because…
- My journal and Dave’s Random Musings will soon be a blog, similar to many other blogs you may read. You will be able to respond directly to each post. You will be able to read all posts in the order in which they were written or by category (Lana’s Journal, Dave’s Random Musing, Tay Sachs, Special Events, etc).
- You will be able to receive automatic notifications when new posts are added. You can either subscribe using RSS (I have no idea what that is but Dave says that many people use it to read blogs) or subscribe to receive email notifications.

P.S. Carmen is doing quite well today. No fever and breathing is fairly good. She has been dealing with unexplained diarrhea for over a week now and I hope we can figure that out soon.
